Um dos carros mais animais e ariscos que já andei, um verdadeiro demônio. 0-100km/h em 4.8s. O motor vem das irmãs 130i e 330i (6 cilindros 3.0 em linha de 265hp) mas com 2 turbinas pequenas, que garantem o pico de torque (45kgmf) à inacreditáveis 1300rpm! A potência passou para 306hp, o que não parece muito, mas a resposta do carro mudou completamente.

BMW X3 Navigation’s hidden menu: Go to main page and press "menu" for eight seconds.
This hidden menu shows the car’s VIN number (serial number), and allows to configure the car colour and the settings for the BMW Assist’s SIM card.
When the emergency option is selected and the car tries to dial the BMW Assist’s emergency, the car’s VIN, colour and coordinates are automatically sent back to BMW to help localise the car.
The SMSC centre 0171xxx is from T-Mobile

Milky Way from home

I’m always pleased this time of year to still be able to see the Milky Way while outside in the evening. It’s not bright, and does take a bit of effort to detect, but the Milky Way is still visible from my neighborhood. Sadly, i doubt this will last much longer. There is a new shopping center going in a quarter mile SW at the corner of East Palm Canyon and Farrell. There is also a new BMW car dealership being built about a half mile to the SE. A year from now if i can still see the Milky Way from home i’ll be surprised… and very pleased!
You need to view the original size image to really see anything. And maybe turn up your monitor’s brightness. But the Milky Way is visible and looks pretty much the same to the naked eye as it does in the photo.

On the way to the CBD, I was caught in a jam at Kolam Road. No matter, the wait paid off as I spotted a BMW X1! This is the first time I’ve seen the X1, and its in my hometown! This one is a little dirty at the back though. Its still a new car in the local market I think.
